Chungliang al Huang is a highly regarded and internationally respected Tai Ji master and authority on East-West cultural synthesis. He is the author of numerous books, a research fellow of the Academia Sinica, a member of the World Academy of Art and Science, a recipient of the Republic of China's Gold Medal of Education, and a Fellow of the Joseph Campbell Foundation.

Site of Caldecott Award-winning author, artist, and film-maker Gerald McDermott, the first Fellow of the Joseph Campbell Foundation, and a leader of the "Mythological ToolBox" workshop at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California. Instituted by Campbell, a close friend of Gerald's, the annual retreat continues to bring people together to explore the mythological aspects of their lives.

PHIL COUSINEAUPHIL COUSINEAU is a writer, teacher, editor, independent scholar, documentary filmmaker, travel leader, and storyteller. His life-long fascination with the art, literature, and history of culture has taken him on many journeys around the world. He lectures frequently on a wide range of topics--from mythology, film, and writing, to beauty, travel, sports, and creativity. He has published more than 20 non-fiction books and has more than 15 scriptwriting credits to his name

An expert on mythology and film and the "hero journey" structure of screenplays, Cousineau consults on many types of film projects, from quirky independent documentaries to big studio productions. Cousineau is a Fellow of the Joseph Campbell Foundation.
