July 6th, 2019, at 2pm: Love relationships in Campbell´s perspective
We are pleased to invite you to join our Fall JCF Mythological RoundTable®, which will be held on July 6th, 2019, at 2pm. This year we will address the issue of relationships.
Our keynote speaker will be Camilo Ghorayeb, MA in Deep Psychology by the Pacifica Graduate Institute and lecturer at the Palas Athena Association, where he conducts courses on the works of Joseph Campbell and Carl Jung, authors who he studies since adolescence. Ghorayeb is also a guest lecturer in the specialization course in analytical psychology at Unicamp and in the training course of Jungian analysts at IPAC, as well as a instructor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is also co-editor and co-author of “A Tribute to James Hillman: A Renegade Psychologist,” co-author of “Tribute to James Hillman”, “Geography in Extension and Pacifica Graduate Institute: an Alumni Tribute to 40 Years of Tending the Soul in and of the world “.
The suggested reading for the meeting is Chapter 7 (Stories of Love and Marriage) of the book The Power of Myth (Pallas Athena).
The event is free of charge, but we request the donation of one kilo of non-perishable food per participant to the parish.
Also be welcome to bring fruits and other healthy food or juices to share in the community closing gathering, held at 4:30 p.m.
