WEBINAR
Navigating the Road of Trials:
A Community Webinar

In the Initiation stage of the hero’s journey, adventurers must navigate the road of trials. The challenges along this road test adventurers and push them to change. That's what Initiation is all about. Initiation isn't easy, but at the end of the trials, adventurers find the ultimate boon or divine gift, inwardly and outwardly. This webinar features the DJ and musician Chris Holmes and his reflections on music and initiation.

FEATURED WORK
THE HERO WITH
A THOUSAND FACES

Since its release in 1949, The Hero with a Thousand Faces has influenced millions of readers by combining the insights of modern psychology with Joseph Campbell’s revolutionary understanding of comparative mythology. In these pages, Campbell outlines the Hero’s Journey, a universal motif of adventure and transformation that runs through virtually all of the world’s mythic traditions. He also explores the Cosmogonic Cycle, the mythic pattern of world creation and destruction.

THE COLLECTED AUDIO
OF JOSEPH CAMPBELL

In the course of his career, Joseph Campbell shared his work through classes, books, and a wide variety of lectures. The Collected Audio of Joseph Campbell gathers audio recordings of some of those lectures so you can experience what it might have been like to attend them.

The JCF team is in the process of cleaning and restoring these audio files, some of which were originally recorded for audio cassettes. We will release collections of lectures as soon as they become available.

Travel through time with these recordings and experience the timeless wisdom of Campbell’s scholarship.
